What is the accepted age in the eyes of the public to have a baby?

when you can afford them without welfare..or your parents.

Legally, the mother must be 18 years of age. In the public's eyes, the mother and the father must be married and could live independently. Really independent and mature to manage and financially support family life.

You mean "accepted" age.

Well, so long as you are a responsible human being, for yourself and for your children, then almost any age is acceptable, but usually not until you are emancipated...in the U.S. that is the age of 18.

But if a person is still too immature at 18, or any age, then they should wait...unfortunately, many immature people do not recognize this in themselves.

I think the right age is when your a really sure you want to have a child. When you can handle the resonsiblity to raise one.

When you are married, can support yourself and your family, and when you can make mature decisions concerning another life.
