something like the book of the dead for ancient egypt and the tao te ching for chinese. also links to sites about these writings would be apreciated. also some books by confucious would be good.

i think its the south asian... the sanskrit philosophy and (hindu) religion are the ancient and base for most of the languages in the current world.
