NOT IF ITS USED PURPOSELY TO HURT SOMEONE THEN ITS JUST RUDE. JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A BIG GIRL DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO TELL HER SHE SHOULDN'T EAT THE CAKE. GET ME?

As the word honesty imply, it telling only FACT. So a fact is a fact, and no way it can be an excuse...

Just fact. It is subjective to the person interpreting it. If the person do not believe in it, then it become "an excuse" from you.

It totally depends on what you're trying to excuse. If you're simply answering a question or completing a task that is expected of you for your job, then yes. If there are any ulterior motives to the unnecessary expression of your honest feelings, it probably isn't, especially if the intentions aren't nice. You shouldn't ask a question if you can't handle any of the possible answers, but you shouldn't answer more than the question asked just to be honest if it is not necessary.

Like the answer to the question: Am I the best lover you have ever had?

An acceptable (and honest) answer could be no, but there is no need to tell them why and who was better if that was not asked of you. Even if you are dying to tell them. Meanie.

If you have to use an excuse, honesty is the hardest to refute.

When talking to someone and the first lie is told, the rest of the conversation means nothing. It's just a big waste of time.

i'm sorry, yet i locate myself helping the crazies in this one. the concept that somebody can exchange the character of what they're asserting by utilising basically including the words "i've got faith..." or, "The Bible says..." is petty. Why can no longer all of us basically assume that the guy is constrained to what's their opinion. that's in comparison to they even have an purpose source for those statements instead to their reading or opinion. there is not any proper reader of the Bible to offer the definitive meaning of a textual content textile. there is not any one with direct get admission to to an almighty all-understanding being. that's my humble opinion that there is not any such being for everyone to be in touch with. Why can no longer you basically assume that the guy is providing you with their "i've got faith" with no need to sort it?
