yes, i live here, and to all you americans: yes, the spiders are massive, the koalas are vicious and kangaroos come out of nowhere to jump on your head while you shop. Don't come here, it's very dangerous.

I already live in Australia. Yes, I love Sydney. I was born here.
We have great weather, beautiful people, great shopping, beaches, museums, art galleries, libraries, nightclubs, cafes, the economy is booming, employment is up all the time and we are a free and democratic nation.
We are multi-cultural, diverse, tolerant, loving, care-free people.
We have natural wonders, beautiful native animals and a clean, healthy environment. we have a social welfare system in place to control poverty, we are a rich nation, with great industry, and a healthy work ethic. We are friendly. We are one people.
NOTICE TO THE IDIOTIC AMERICANS WHO RESPONDED TO THIS QUESTION:The state of which Sydney is the capital is 'New South Wales' - not "South Whales" - kangaroos are NOT venomous - there are no alligators in Australia - only crocodiles - and nowhere near any metropolitan city - and Indonesia can't and WON'T invade Australia because they rely on us too heavily economically to jeopardise our trade relationship.
We have spiders that are venomous but we are a FIRST WORLD country and have a VACCINE that saves lives. We have things in Australia called HOSPITALS!!! Duh! most of the venomous creatures in Australia are MILES away where NOBODY lives.......

Yeah!! I'd love too! The waves there is way better than here in Malibu. I heard South Whales is a cool city. I want to go there and buy myself a house with the beach just on the back so that I can go surfing with prefect waves....
Plus my cousin lives there...

yes, Australia is a beautiful place. I wouldn't mind buying a house and retire there. For lazy people, they have some of the best social programs ever but you have to pay lots of taxes for them. There are lots dangerous animals, insects, snakes, sharks, and alligators.

If you want to check the toilet for spiders every time... and if you want to cover yourself in Sunbloc 50 before you nip down the shops. I read somewhere that there are over 300 different insects and animals that are potentially lethal in Australia ... I would rather be relaxed in what's left of my life.
