*Do any of these answers really give you a positive, Yes Jesus was God? Don't mean any disrespect for the people who believe in the Trinity, but how do you take a few verses out of the bible and say he was God? Jesus never once said he was God. And he claimed to be Gods son. Not part of a Godhead, but Gods only begotten son. How do you explain John 20:17?
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God and your God.
This clearly shows that Jesus is not God. So to the resurrected Jesus, the Father was God, just as the Father was God to Mary Magdalene. Not once in the scriptures do we find the Father addressing the son as "my God"
There are many scriptures were Jesus talks of our Heavenly Father and not once did he say, by the way I am God.
Jesus prayed to God. If Jesus was God, then he would have been praying to himself, which just doesn't compute.
And by the way, A family of three--- Father, Mother, and you Make a family of one, but you are all separate individuals with your own thoughts.

Its father, son, and holy ghost, for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believith in him should not perish but have ever lastin life. Bible says the Holy ghost came upon mary and she conceived, then christ was born. but the father son and holy ghost are 1, kind of like a family, you have a mother father and you, but your 1 family or 3.I hope this is what you were wanting to know, also the Bible says the hour no man knoweth, but as you see that DAY approaching, so we can see it is getting near.

How so?
--
Jesus voluntarily put aside certain of his powers (including omniscience) when he took the form of a man.
Jesus is God in human form.

Here is a brief synopsis of the Trinity:
There is only ONE God. He manifests himself in three personas/persons/manifestations for the purposes of the redemption of, and relationship with, human beings.
Contrary to what some people say, there is nothing irrational or illogical about this concept (of the Trinity).
For an explanation (and defense) of the doctrine of the Trinity, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/sect/doc/trinity.html
Cordially,
John
