Prayer or the force?

I play darts with my eyes closed by using the force. I'm usually inebriated at the time, and yet no deaths have occurred during these times. Neither has there ever been an injury. But my Grandma broke her hip once by being blown over by the wind. She might not have been praying exactly at the time, but she was definitely bent over by the wind. She might even have been thinking, "Get me out of all this goddam wind!" She got out of the wind, but not without significant injury.

Therefore I must surmise that the force is more powerful than prayer.

The force. Because it only "works" in the movie using special effects! Prayer, on the other hand, has 100% answer rate. But just because God always answers your prayers does not mean He always answers it the way you wanted it. Our parents always hear our requests and give us their answers but they don't always grant us our wishes. If you are a parent you would appreciate why.

I've found force to be more effective than prayer.

Prayer never works, force works 9 out of 10 times so long as you apply or have superior force.

(i know, i know, but raw force is more effective that "the" force or prayer)

'Prayer' is a good way to rectify the mind. It is a form of meditation when done properly so there is no failure rate per se. Even doing it wrong (begging for things) should eventually teach you how to do it right.

Force, because every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Prayer if done with total surrender can do miracles, that is hard to believe.

We've seen the force work in the movies. In the movies most people who pray quickly get killed.

Force: 1. Movies: 0

Prayers are always answered. Sometimes the answer is "No." When that happens, it is because my higher power has something better in mind, even if I don't happen to like it.

The Force.

Jesus said we all have the power, but most fail at it!

Try walking on water!

Pray and maybe God will send you a boat or let you find a tree that might float and you can ride that to shore!

Pray, v. To ask that the laws of the universe be annulled in behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy.

If you pray to Joe Pesci I hear it works better, but who knows. He is pretty busy.
