My 20 year old daughter and her friends are wearing adult diapers for convenience on long trips. What to do?

I'm sorry, I'm not a woman, but it works for men too.

I travel a lot due to my job, and where I live there are a lot of open spaces on the road and restrooms are few and far between and a lot of them I would not wish on my worse enemy. I can only imagine what it would be like to be a woman and have to go into one of these restrooms and have to even think about sitting down on one of the those toilet seats, YUCK!

I wear a nice thick, comfortable diaper on long trips and then I don't have to worry about those restrooms, I can pick and chose where I want to "go", or if I want to for that matter.

How many times have you been between restrooms and have to pee so bad your eyeballs are floating? Not me, I just use the diaper and change when I get to the next restroom that's clean.

I don't mess in my diaper, that's a little too much for me so I pick and chose and try to time myself for that and generally we have a little more control when it comes to that too. But, when you drive you have a tendency to drink more liquids, if nothing more, just out of boredom, and it all has to go somewhere.

I sometimes do the same when I have to make a long trip without reststops. Think it is for peace of mind, as I have never had the need to actually use one. Also hate the way they feel!

I think they're laughing about this somewhere in a hotel right now where one of the friends is considering going out and buying a pack of Depends to take a picture of them holding for their MySpace page. I don't think they're really going to wear them unless it's for a silly candid photo.

Hey, it's not like I haven't thought about doing it when wanting to drive straight through but the idea that I'd smell like urine and be sitting in my own urine was quite a deterrant.

Not much you can do. If they want to sit around in soiled Depends, so be it. One thing you can be sure of: they aren't going to be able to pick up any guys in the rest areas (either because they aren't stopping or because if they do, they'll smell like incontinent old people.)

thats a great idea i think more women should try that, i do it also i wear plastic panties over mine for extra protection. i would love to meet the whole group.diapers are not the big deal that most people make it out to be they are just closed minded. if you havent tried it you really dont have the right to comment. keep wearing those diapers girls i love you

Don't forget the baby-powder and the butt-balm.....oh yeah and don't let people see ya' changing them at rest-stops...ya might get more than funny looks!!! WE did the same while watching super-bowl a few years back....They WILL grow out of it , trust me. Do make sure they wear seat-belts/carseats or they might draw attention away from britney spears....and we don't want that...DO WE???

I agree with Stimply. Just the thought of sitting around in my own urine or incontinence is simply disgusting.

Caution them about highway littering ($1,000 fine in most states), and let the chips fall where they may. Hopefully, you have raised her to make intelligent choices...

Maybe some or more have a hard time holding it. I just hope that when they pass by a rest stop, they actually get out and change and clean them selves up.

I know the women who ride on Mardi Gras floats wear um cause they get drunk and the five gallon buckets usually spill all over the beads they are throwing to kids.
