In my personal belief the first guide for mankind was Adam himself and the last one was our Prophet Mohammad, peace and mercy of the Lord be on his soul for ever, Amen.

So many religions, so many different answers.
To the Christians, the first prophet would probably be Enoch, who "walked with God and talked with God". The last would be Elijah, brought down to earth in the end times to prophecy.
To the Muslims, "There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his Prophet". He is the greatest of all the prophets.
To the Hindus, there may never be a last prophet, as the world may continue on, so long as mankind continues to not follow good karma and get off samsara.
To the humanists, we are all "prophets" in a way. Since there is no higher power, we are the highest power, and we speak out of what we will do.

Adam was the first Prophet, the Last Prophet. The Last is yet to be born, but the Latest Prophet is Gordon B. Hinckley.

There is no such thing as a prophet. There has never been a valid prophecy of any kind by anyone.

I am a prophet too and my prophecy is we will all die and pass on into other forms one day. Our body will be food for other beings and hence we pass on.
