There is a saying about learning that goes something like this: When the student is ready, the teacher appears. I believe the same is true about love as well.
There is another bit of wisdom I read somewhere that I'd like to share with you: Learning from relationships is a bit like archery. Each relationship is like taking a shot at the target. If you take the time to learn from each one, you'll improve with each shot until you finally hit the target. Each relationship you are in has value as a teacher. Not only do you learn what you want, you also learn what you don't want, and ultimately, more about who you are.
I spent so many years searching for the right person, and continually had my heart broken, not to mention I broke a few hearts along the way as well. Finally, I decided I was not going to focus on "finding" the right person, I was going to focus on finding myself. As I did that, things began to change--my outlook became brighter and I felt less lonely. I began to feel more whole within myself. As I placed a healthier priority on my own health and needs, a funny thing happened. The right person found me.
Stop searching. Start living. The rest will fall into place.

You can't find the right person for you because you have no clue who you are looking for. God, on the other hand, knows who this person is because He made that person just for you. But He didn't stop there, he has plans to bring the two of you together at the most critical, perfect place and time.
"If you're nothing without that special someone, you'll be nothing with him." - In other words, until you find him, you need to work on developing your own personality and character.

I found out my wife was having an affair and after trying to make a go of our marriage, we finally called it quits. There was just no trust left in our marriage.
For awhile, I was lonesome and was looking hard for a replacement. I wanted a companion and someone to be a part of my life. I look and looked hard, with no success.
It's only when I stopped looking and just started to live my life did the right person come alone. My wife and I will have been married for 26 years this month.
Moral of this (true) story: The best time to find the right person for you is when you're not looking.

Maybe you are looking too hard. Let them find you...
Love will come when you least expect it, if you look to long or hard, it may be right in front of your eyes, by then your eyes are to blurry to see it!
Just step back, take a deep breath and wait for love to find you!

Because of two main reasons. 1) You are probably not getting out of your house and meeting people. 2) You are bitching and moaning about it therefore turning everone off around you.
