i adore my family i was always taught is u dont have family u dont have crap.they are what i live for i have three wonderful boys and they are the greatest.i also have a new husband of almost three years and i couldnt ask for anything better ya i have friends but as they say they come and go like clock work in my 41 years i can honestly say i only have 3 great friends but i have at least 200 family members and i wouldnt trade it for the world.

I love my children.
My mother is an a s s, a bloodsucking vampire who I am convinced only had children so she could take everything they ever had
My brother is an ex meth head, now pothead, probably bipolar
My sister who I never see is reeeeaaalllyy overweight and does too many drugs
My grandparents live on a golf course and are too good to see anyone
My significant other lives only to undermine and sabotage every good thing I try to do
But I am supposed to love them all despite their failings or God will be mad or something.

Yes and no, I didn't know how to be part of a family unit, therefore, the overall thing suffocate me, but individual people I love them all.

I can cope with individual but not the overall unit. e.g. Last night our whole family had a meeting because I asked to move out, boy I was so angry and told everyone I am not a subject to discuss although they agree with my request, yet the issue of calling a meeting after I share my pland to move next year, although its not a solid plan yet.

My family has been very good to me and tolerant with me. I have done allot in the past that has hurt them deeply. They know I'm sorry and didnt mean to hurt them. They have put up with me and helped me when I needed Love the most. I love my family and am try to let them know that.

I love them all, but sometimes I do not like what they do, and there are some cousins who I would rather not see ever again. I love my immediate family, my mother, father and younger brother, I do not see that much of my big brother but when I do we get along fine.

NO!!!! I loved my parents very dearly but they have both passed away now. I am a 45 year old female and out of all my years, no one in my family has EVER been there for me when I needed them except for my parents. I have had alot of bad things happen to me through the years and none of my family even called to ask me if I was okay. But as I said, my parents was always there for me and I loved them very much and always will. My own brother or sister has never been there for me either. No uncles, aunts, cousins, etc... You name it, they have not been here period. I lost my Mom in Nov. 2005. I had moved back in with her to take care of her back in Oct. 2000. My brother and sister-in-law told me they would be here for me and everything would be okay. I found my Mom on the floor in her bathroom dead. It really messed me up bad, mentally and physically. I am not over it yet and never will be. I don't know why I even considered the thought that they would be here for me. My own brother only came to see our Mom about once every 3 months and we live in the same town. I have one Aunt that would call and check up on me, but that only lasted for about a month. My Mom would sit and cry alot about my brother and sister never coming to see her and she couldn't understand why. I couldn't understand either. I had a nervous breakdown and I entered myself into a hospital for 2 weeks to get some help. My brother and them knew it because I called to let him know in case they did come by and I wasn't answering the door for 2 weeks. That was back in Jan. 2006. To this day, they haven't EVER called to ask me if I am okay or nothing. I have no use for any of my family anymore. I don't talk to my sister or brother period anymore. I only talk with the Aunt at times that checked on me. I broke away from my brother and sister because they was doing more mental damage to me. I was so depressed I thought about suicide. It is hard to not have family that cares about you at all. For my own sanity, I will never talk with them again. Since I quit talking to them or seeing them, I have done so much better mentally and physically. ALL of my family thinks their you know what doesn't stink and that they are better than anyone. I have always been the total opposite. I am a very loving, caring and understanding person. If anything was wrong with someone in my family, I always went to see them and would call. I am through. I can't handle people that act this way. If you are having family problems, I wish you the very best. It is so hard to not really have any family at all that cares about you. I have gone to counseling alot and my counselor jumped up and down when I told her that I had broke all ties with my brother and sister. She has seen what they have done to me all these years. yeah i love and respect my family,cause 1 day things will change as time goes by and it aint always gonna be there,but family has bin there for your life so far.
