No, Ford of Germany was placed into a trust by Ford of USA during the war. The company was run by many of the same local managers during the war, but the expat managers were repatriated. The managers walked a fine line between pleasing the Nazis and being true to the company they worked for. It wasn't a simple situation, but anyone who tells you Henry Ford was profiting from Ford of Germany during the world is misinformed.

Between 1939 and 1942 the americans were doing great business with both sides during WW2.
In 1941 when Britain was fighting for its survival the Standard Oil Company of California gave the Nazis the process for making synthetic rubber.
This probably prolonged the war by several months as the Nazis had no access to natural rubber which is a strategic war material.

It was no secret that Ford did not like the "jews" and did have operations in Germany prior to WWII. Most of the facilities were Nationalized and taken away from him. Ford also built a lot of bombers, tanks, and trucks for the Americans to knock the crap out of Germany during the War. He was a true American hero.

As did GM, but Ford had a picture of Hitler in his office & the reverse was true, Hitler had a picture of Ford in his. The war began in Sept./39. Ford wanted to keep it going as they were supplying both the allies and the germans. But Gm was doing the same thing. IBM set up a computer card system for hitler to keep track of Jewish slave labour.
A lot more **** happened. Lindburgh supported the nazies, but when the war was joined by the USA in 12/41, and he applied for a commission in the USAF, FDR told him were to go.
