or do you think that it doesnt matter, that people are born bad or good in nature. some people seem to come from very bad family situations and turn out quite well. and some people come from extremely giving, loving, attentive familys and turn out sooooo bad.
vice-versa also.

I believe we are all born with certain inclinations... -And that it's how we treat our children as they grow up- that helps to "manage" those inclinations. There are no guarantees that any child is going to turn out one way or the other- no matter HOW we treat them, however. There are so many variables in life, one never knows which ones are going to affect who in what way.

Many parents make the mistake of telling their children who they are instead of getting to know who they are. This frustrates the strong minded child who needs direction but is otherwise fine on their own. Some children need personal space and they're fine as long as the parent exposes them to positive things. For instance, if a child loves to draw, give them a platform, don't tell them it's dumb and they'll never get anywhere with it. Some kids use that to propel them, others, it crushes their spirit. The other thing is molestation, or witnessing certain events tends to chang a childs whole perspective of the world leaving them to no longer care about themselves or others. The thing is, if they never tell anybody, no one can help. So it all depends on the person and the situation. Many rich kids hate being in wealthy families because of the way the world looks at them, this is why they steal or act out, to "belong" to another group. Depression doesn't discriminate.

I don't think kids can be born bad. I think that whether they come out of a bad situation as a good person or bad person depends on their support system outside of the family.

Getting scared to be a parent? lol There are a myriad of factors, influences on a childhood.
You could raise a perfectly perfect person and when they are out of the house....well, you can only hope that if you instilled good values in your child, now adult, that they will eventually ...could take years!!....turn out super!
Like I said, one can only hope!

You can do what you can to provide for your child, and take care of your child, but your child are going to be who they are regardless of what you do. Also yes being brought up in a bad enviorment can take a toll on a child, but you have to understand that your child chooses how they want to live their life when they are adults.

Kids will have a large number of influences in their lives, but none of them will affect you in a way that they're parents, or parental figures, act/treat them.
