You can lose 10 pounds of weight but you can't lose 10 pounds of fat, in 20 days.

If you go on the diet tomorrow, you'll lose 3-5 pounds right off the bat in the first week, but 4 pounds of that will be just water loss, because your instestines will be less full of starchy food.

A typical human (both men and women) only lose 1-2 pounds per week on a diet. If you add an hour of vigorous exercise every day, you'll lose another 1 pound per week. Your best case scenerio is 3 pounds per week for 3 weeks, which is 9 pounds of fat loss. Good luck.

The maximum weight you should attempt to lose each week should not exceed 2-3lbs. For your healths sake!!!
To do this your body needs to burn more calories than you consume. The important thing to remember is not to put your body into a ridiculous caloric deficit otherwise, not only will your body burn your adipose (fat) tissue away, it will also cannibalize your muscle tissue. NOT GOOD!!
Keep up with those aerobic activities you enjoy. Add 3-4 days of weight training in a week. I would suggest getting a personal trainer for a day to show you proper techniques etc.
Lean meats(chicken), egg whites, complex carbs(whole wheat pasta, potatos etc), vegetables, fruit!!! Stay away from carbonated beverages with lots of sugar...opt for real fruit juices!!
Make sure, however, that you dont cut yourself off of those foods you love. Its all about moderation!! Have fun though and dont be angry with yourself if you dont lose weight. The scale wont tell you how you feel and it wont tell you than the weight you might have gained in the process is muscle tissue. Instead see how clothing fits. Its more important that both your mind and your body work together to find balance. Good luck!

Eat more frequent meals but in smaller portion.Drink a lot of water(1-2 liters a day). It makes your skin glow and helps “flush out” bad things in your body.Have a combination of grains, dairy, and fruit for each morning.Don’t put salt on your food and exercise at least 3 times a week.Eat a variety of foods. If you eat the same thing every single day, your body will feel restricted.Enjoy the things you eat. Food is your nourishment, not your enemy.Eat healthy snacks and veggies.Have one day where you can eat anything you like. That way you won’t feel left out on other stuff.

Continue to exercise...avoid sugar, bread, pasta, soda, beer, salt(and salty stuff), rice, starches of any kind(anything white and refined). Eat salads, fruits, broiled or 'waved chicken breasts, fish, and drink lots of water.(Don't cover your proteins with butter or thick sauces. If you can stay disciplined with this for the three weeks, you will come close to your goal. Good luck

HAHA! I am on the same quest as you are... to lose weight. I'll tell you everything that has worked for me in the past, and I sincerely hope that it helps you.

Firstly, lay off the softdrink and all those koolaids and coffee shop crap!!! It is loaded with calories, fat, and loaded with sugar - non metabolized sugar = fat.

Don't eat out at fast food places. If you must, just get a cheeseburger or something really tiny. Or if they have salads, opt for that. But don't put on the salad dressings they have - they are OVERLOADED with fat!!! Opt for something lite, or even better - fat free.

Take your multivitamin every day!!! Very important!

Eat mini-meals (when i say mini meal, i mean about the size of your fists or both combined, depending on how hungry you are) throughout the day. Eat about every 3-4 hours, and after every mini meal, have an apple. Apple skin contains pectin which absorbs fat. :) And make sure you don't eat before you go to bed. Leave it 4 hours after a meal before going to bed.

These are the things that are best for you to lose weight and feel good in the way of eating:

Fish
Meat
Eggs
Salad
Soup
Beans
Fruit
Yoghurt

... as far as the "fatty goodness" foods go, don't eat more than a tablespoon a day.

And whatever you do, don't wake up to pastries and donuts and all that crap! I'm not one to eat cereal, because it doesn't fill me up. So I usually make a big sandwitch to eat - bread, egg, meat slice, lettuce, tomato, and spice. And never oversalt anything! That's bad for ya!

And drink water like there's no tomorrow. You should drink about 2 cups every hour that you're awake. And drink it cold. Good stuff. You are supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces worth of water. So live up to it!

You also need your exercise, to make it all happen! Well, if you have an xbox, it's all pretty easy in the way of exercise. If you've ever heard of the game "Dance Dance Revolution" and you're into oldies, techno, and rock, you should have some fun with this. So even if you're not so good at it, it's a great way to exercise. I'm currently on heavy mode, so i'm haulin' some serious *** with the steps. You should invest in buying either Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2 or 3, as well as buying a red octane dance pad. ($100) Though the pad may be pricey, it'll last a lifetime compared to some of the other cheap shitty mats. Just whatever you like. (You can also buy Dance Dance Revolution for Playstation 2).

Well, if you don't have an xbox or any of the above, you can always kick it oldskool... get outside in the fresh air or hop on the treadmill - at least 30 mins a day of walking/jogging is good. I like to do 30 mins on the treadmill at full incline going 3 - 4 mph. Just whatever is a little more than comfortable for you. Another great way of burnin' the fat and calories is jump ropin'! Fast and effective. Just make sure you get a good rope, not the cheesy crap!

And whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP if somedays the scale isn't going down. This is what I like to do... don't weigh everyday. Just weigh yourself one day of the week... that is, when you just freshly wake up in the morning and after you've peed/pooed. Don't eat before jumping on! :)

Last, but not least - the most important - GET YOU FULL 8 HOURS OF SLEEP!!! This is so vital to you losing weight. While you are asleep (your body has already metabolized the food throughout the day) your metabolism is burning off excess fat that has been stored! So don't ruin it by eating before bedtime!

Don't take those shitty weightloss pills - they don't work.

Just exercise whenever you can - the more you do, the better. After a week of doing all this, you will be able to see your complexion improve, your energy will be up, and you'll feel great. Conquer the world! Don't give up and eat like a cow! Don't eat too much! Don't eat just because you are bored when you're really not that hungry. And lastly, if you start pigging out, I will personally beat your ***!!! j/k! Have fun and email me to tell me how much you lose by September 5th... and don't dissapoint me!!!! :)

P.S. Oh yeah! My last thing!!! I forgot to tell you! I like to make milkshakes!!! I'll tell you a kickass recipe i made that is sooo good, it'll fill you up quick!

2 - 2 1/2 cups fat free milk
1/2 cup crushed ice
however much splenda you want (well, about a tablespoon)
teaspoon of vanilla extract (you know, the stuff u use to make cakes and crap!)
and lastly, 1 dessert spoon of coffee (decaf or reg, depending on time of day)

Blend it all together in a mixer and I swear, it tastes like cream! It's so damn good! :) (I'm not actually sure of all the measurements, because i always improvise with those ingredients, but i spose they are close enough)

Oh, and every week that you lose weight, reward yourself with clothes, shoes, or even just going out to a movie - but don't buy any popcorn for crying out loud!!!
