Stomach ulcers are usually triggered from a little bacteria known as H. Pylori. As with any run-away bacterial infection, anti-biotic therapy may be necessary. Additionally, your physician may prescribed medications to lower the concentration of your stomach acid - allowing your current ulcers to heal faster. If you have signs of internal bleeding such as vomiting with coffee-ground like emesis or blood in your stools (appears as black stools) you may have more serious complications that require prudent medical care. Some natural remedies (which shouldn't replace traditional medical care) are ginger supplements and licorice root (not to be confused with candy licorice). Both are known to have anti-inflammatory properties.
