My boyfriend called me to do that he was told he was mildly agoraphobic, and if he didn’t do well on these medication he’s taking, then he will have to be put into the hospital. It was a shock for me. I love this man, he’s a great guy. I have known he is paranoid around large crowds since we started dating. Lately, He has gotten worse. He won’t leave the house with me to go shopping. If he does go he flips out and runs out the store, in tears. I feel bad, because I can tell he wants to go out and he talks about taking me out if he could. I don’t know how to help him. Any advice or tips to make it easier on him and me.

I know the meds will help him. We are trying that. I want to know what can I do to help. Talking to him about it upsets him and then we both get upset. Is there anything I can do that will make it better for him

there are medications to help this, talk him into seeing a professional, there is no reason he has to live this way, he has a small chemical imbalance that a prescription like zoloft could cure, the poor thing, I wish him the best!

the right meds and exercise. Exercise really helps me.

It takes alllllllllllllll of that energy and turns it into a positive chemical change in the brain and HELPS to counter the imbalance.

The only way you can help him is to have him take his meds. That would be the most important intervention because without the meds he won't listen to you or anybody. Good luck.
