I am a Nissan technician. Power comes with loss of warranty and all the money you can spend! so if your car is three years old and your extended warrant does not matter to you. And you are willing pay for a new motor if it starts using oil or blows a head gasket.. Go right ahead. Wolf Racing ECU, Lightened flywheel, Gready exhaust, Headers, Cold air intake. If you have the timing cover off remove the balance chain you don't need it ... a little engine roughness won't be a problem. Shave about .030 off the cyl head for more compression and always run high octane gasoline synthetic oils in the gearbox and engine. don't forget the short throw shifter!

To be honest, there's no real cheap way to do it. You look for cheap prices, you get cheap results. I would try getting an intake system and a new exhaust system. A new exhaust will gill you mild gains in horsepower and speed, while an intake will let you take off a lil faster. The most expensive would be to end up getting a new engine. I put a V-tec engine in my neon sxt, and that made a real difference against a SRT-4

Anything that will let the engine breathe better will help, get more air in faster, and that air out faster, so cold air intake, and exhaust
