Lol, so many people assume you are talking about a real life stalker..hilarious considering what you wrote.

Anyways, in order to scare an online predator you need to stop being the prey and turn yourself into a predator too. Start stalking this person right back. Find out everything you can about this person, and make sure that they know what you are doing. Make sure that they know that you want them to know what you are doing.

It's all a mind game. It's not hard to win either since people like that are usually weak of mind and determination. Good luck and have fun messing with his mind.

Stalkers can be anything from idiots who are afraid of their own shadows to real, dangerous psychopaths. If you can, ignore them. They often just want attention and trying to "run them off" may make them happy and more likely to hang around

Report any threats to the website where they occur and to the person's IP. If they are really scary, call the FBI. They do take this very seriously.

A stalker on the internet or in real life?

Either way, make sure they know that you know.

I would document all of the times you are aware that your stalker is minding your business. Take photos if he/she is in your visual space. Report your concerns to your local police. Continue to document and re-report to police if necessary.
