Good Question. I see Faith for what it is.

Hebrews 11:17-19
People put their trust in different things. Some place faith in the Lord; others trust in themselves or another person. Faith can even be placed in relationships, money, or politics. Anytime we put absolute trust in something, we demonstrate faith. So, the question isn't, Do I have any faith? but rather, In what have I placed my faith? Looking at that question honestly will shake up your assumptions about your spiritual life.
An old saying explains, "Faith gives feet to belief." Simply put, this means that faith is the active expression of what you believe about God. If you have the idea that He sits in some far-off place called "heaven" and only halfheartedly listens to your prayers, then that will reveal itself in your day-to-day walk of faith. Your God will seem small, powerless, and disinterested. The result will be a string of seemingly unanswered prayers and a general sense of defeat.
If, on the other hand, you believe that God is right beside you, whispering in your ear, pouring out His Holy Spirit upon you - and that He is intimately familiar and concerned with the minutiae of your life - then such a belief will impact your faith walk. Prayer will be a joyful exchange between cherished friends, and the evidence of our heavenly Father's miraculous power will become commonplace in your daily life.

Weak faith says, "God can." Great faith says, "God will." But perfect faith - godly faith - says, "It's done." Your faith is your testimony.

I believe that Jesus, God's son, came to earth lived a sinless life, took all of our sin up with Him on the cross, died, and 3 days later rose again, just so i could have everlasting life. In order to get this precious gift you must believe in Jesus and that He died and rose again. Although that is not the end, after we accept Him with must change the way we live, and be obedient to Christ, we can't just use Him as a get out of hell free card which we tend to do. Becuase if you do truly accept Him, you will change your life, and He will live in you, and everyone should be able to see by how you act, and what you do whether you are a Christian or not.

God is the common title these days for The Great Spirit who Created the Universe-- a Higher Power that embodies both masculine and feminine energies and is immanent throughout all of the universe and nature, including ourselves. All Gods and Goddesses of every religion/beliefs/faith in human history are just different human perceptions and personifications of the nature of the Divine. You can't limit a question to just Christians here, it is an interfaith forum.

Faith is the Substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen Hebrews11;1 I believe in the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost. I beleive in God, I believe God sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to this world to shed his blood for our sins. And I believe Jesus Christ will return in the clouds of glory to take his Children home to Glory on High.... I believe if I keep Faith in the Lord, the Lord will bring me through all things.... And even though it may not be the way I like, It will be his way.... because what I want and need may not be what the Lord knows is best for me.....

I believe that God is our Father...and like all children we have to learn and grown. We are past the hand-holding stage...we will succeed or we will fail based on our own actions. God will not save us from ourselves or from Life. Free-will is our curse and our salvation.

Prayer and religious services are beneficial...if you benefit from them. A church can be a supportive institution or it can be a political entity. The Bible is a good book....but not the only Good Book. It was written by men, and in my opinion, never intended to be taken literally. The lessons we learn do not come from divine intervention, but from men that speak Truths. One truth is that what is true can change...but some part of you will always know the Truth. Living up to that Truth is one of our tests.

God doesn't speak English, or Hebrew, or Arabic, or any other language. He isn't a he, but calling him "it" is rude, and saying "her" is just being confrontational...all three are equally true. There is no One True religion, but there are lots of false ones. (Some of them even share the same name and ideas.) God doesn't want you to kill anyone in his name, but there are lots of Men that want that. Most religions are political...politics is an invention of mankind, not God. God would rather you give an honest prayer for the injured football player you see get hurt while watching TV on Sunday instead of a dutiful/resentful repetition of someone Else's words in a church. Thinking is never heretical...Eve bit the apple of knowledge, God knew she would, why do you think he put it there? Making a choice is what makes us sentient and different from any other animal. Science is just another way of understanding God. If God can create life, making evolution a part of that life would be a snap. The Theory of Evolution doesn't challenge the word of God, it challenges the word of Man and his previous understanding of the world. Being spiritual does not make you right. Believing sincerely does not mean what you Believe is true. God doesn't hate anyone, people do. God is great...Man needs work.

Just my opinion.

I believe it's impossible at this point in time to prove or dissprove the existance of a god or gods, therefore I have a great distrust of religion, especially christianity. Don't live for something you don't know to exist, live for what is before your eyes. What matters in life is that you were a decent person who worked hard toward your goals, who loved and who had a good time while time was still available to you. Overall, religion causes more harm that it ever will cause good.

I am a Jehovah's Witness. I believe that Jehovah God is the most high over all the earth as Psalm 83:18 says. I believe that he is love and that out of that love, he began to create and the first being that he created was the being we now know as Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus shared as a master worker with God in creating all other things in heaven and on earth. I believe that Jesus had a special fondness for the sons of men and because he recognized that man would never be able to be reconciled to God again without a sacrifice, he volunteered to give his perfect human life as a replacement for the perfect human life that Adam lost when he stole from God in the Garden. I believe that God knew he would volunteer for this assignment and agreed to it. I believe that God and Jesus are in total agreement and that if we act as wise persons, we will accept the greater knowledge that they have and we will also attain to be united with them in thought and actions. I believe that without Jesus' sacrifice we could never again be reconciled to God but with it, we can actually find ourselves to be friends with him as Abraham was. I believe that Jehovah God will not tolerate man's selfishness much longer and he will put an end to all the governments of the world as well as all the people who prefered to look to men's governments for answers rather than to look to God. I believe that once Satan and the demons are abyssed, the second resurrection will begin. I believe that the 1st resurrection has already begun but we cannot see those faithful ones on earth because they have all been resurrected to heaven. I believe that the physical Israelites are no longer God's chosen people, but, instead, he has replaced them with a group from all the nations which he refers to as "spiritual Israel". I believe that we must join ourselves to spiritual Israel in order to survive Armegeddon.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord. He was Conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the Third day rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. This is what I believe! and by the holy catholic church it means all the teachings of the church

Notice God the father, God the son Jesus, and God the Holy spirit all the same God they aren't 3 different Gods Just ONE God in Three Divine Persons But only One God

the biblical meaning of faith is in hebrew 11:1" Faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen." Example:When you tell someone what ur problem this moment and that someone answer you with "that is the fact but the truth is God never leave you nor forsake you. That is faith.

I dont believe in religion, but i DO believe in a powerful being thats always around, in everything living and non-living.
Religions are moulded to suit whoever made them, and their laws change over time. I wont be a sheep to follow something blindly.
