I would say B.O. You know it's the first date and you should have showered or freshen up at least, make an effort. Bad breath, you don't always know unless you just want to chew gum or eat a breath mint constantly. Then again, that person may not think they have B.O. and think it's ok. I know some people who don't use deodorant.

Ouch.. it's best if you can avoid both really... but you're asking us to choose so...
I'd say B.O is worse because on a first date there's normally a lot more distance between you and that person, so there's less close face to face type of stuff going on. Less bad breath to smell. While B.O. on the other hand you don't have to be right next to them to smell. So body odor is worse.

B.O. would be worse. Bad breath could be a mistake - it's a forgivable offense. Not skimping on deodorant, tho.

It depends on the boy/girl. I prefer BO to bad breath. BO seems more fixable. To put a positive spin on it, BO may represent a hardworker who didn't have time to shower. Bad breath seems rooted in bad health.

BOTH!!!! its bad when he/she has bad breath and tries to kiss you, and when they are trying get closer to you and they STINK!!! I know I don't sound fair, but please, for the love of god brush your all's teeth and shower!
