it never really expires, if it is stored right. As someone else said, it only gets better. It is already aged 7 years even before you buy it.

I think alcohol like that lasts forever. People are still drinking brandy from the 1700s.

AS LONG AS IT IS SEALED PROPERLY IT SHOULD LAST INDEFINITELY AS IT IS A VERY STABLE LIQUID AT THAT % OF ALCOHOL. PRACTICALLY YOU WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE SOME PROOF THROUGH THE CORK BUT IT WILL NEVER SPOIL.
