The first commercial projector TV was made by Philco in the early-mid fifties. It was a black & white (color TV was still in development) set with a tilt-up screen. The picture was dim and had a very narrow angle of view, but it was the largest picture available at the time. I don't remember the screen size, my guess is that it was about the same as a 23" TV. (The claim was that the picture was the size of a newspaper page.)

a tv has a tuner, so you can watch tv programs.
a projector displays the image that is at the input of it.

no, hence the word PROJECTOR, the project an image onto something.

Yes... been out for 30 years now... better picture now then the first one's..... The first one's you had to sit right in front of.. No angle viewing at all...
