Judge for your self who has won. Bush and Olmert both have made fools of themselves and degraded US in eyes of many nations and people, particularly after their latest Lebanon misadventure. US has lost its diplomatic persuasion with most of the Arab countries. What have they accomplished after killing so many innocent civilians including children ( Israelis and Lebanese ) and devastating a beautiful country ? To ensure an effective defence, which most of the Arab armies are incapable of doing, Lebanon should induct all the Hezbollah fighters into the Lebanese army. This may deter Israel from picking on Lebanon, which it has done 4 times uptill now. US has become an unwilling partner as this tail is capable of wagging the dog

Hezbollah right now is winning the war. Israel is petrified of Hezbollah and the soldiers are even scared to attempt to penetrate Lebanon because Hezbollah has been killing them as they enter. Israel is even killing their own members. A recent attack by Israel was a man in a tank shot at two tanks who happened to be Israli soldiers. The man was terrified and thought the tanks were Hezbollah tanks ( I don't even think Hezbollah has tanks) and shot them down. He would later find out that they were his comrades. Even though Israel has killed and destroyed people and buildings most of the people, actually almost all the people are civilians and the buildings are houses of the people. In fact my families house in southern Lebanon is completely gone. Hezbollah definately has control of this war.

None of the two, both are responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Lebanese.
However, if it is a must to choose between the two, then I will vote for the victory of Hezbollah being the LESSER EVIL.

Hizballah clearly emerged the winner. They killed more israelis then they themselves did. Israel might have killed 400 supporters of hizballah but only 80 fighters compared to 120 israeli fighter's death. You should listen to george galloways interview with sky news it answers so many good questions. Here is the link.

I am finding it very funny that everybody is claiming this as a victory. that tells me that every side lost.
I think Isael won because for a month they were able to bomb the crap out of the Gaza Strip with no media coverage.

Both have failed, but more so is Israel, because it could not achieve the goal it had, that is releasing the two abducted soldiers.

No one, because American cannot vote on the outcome of foreign events. Besides, you can't vote on the outcome of a military conflict.
