How do they figure its to a T.
Eg. "I'm a smartass to a T" "Thats Robby to a T"

Yes, I understand that. But a T doesn't fit pervectly, its perpendicular, ad V is closer to perfect fit than a T.

greetings.... when the phrase "to a T" is used it usually means the T square of a constructioneer's tool. most commonly know as the T square. when manufacturing a piece of plywood, a T square would be used to bring together two adjoining lines for which to be drawn, then cut. hense the phrase "to a T"

If you heard the details, appearence, age group etc of someone and those descriptions fit you to a "T",,,,you'd better hope that the person wasnt robbing banks, or you'd probably be in jail. A perfect description=to a "T"
