No, that is not true at all. Wearing a yarmulke and not wearing one has nothing to do with sin.
Yarmulkes are head-coverings, also known as beanies. One who wears a Yarmulke is in effect saying that reality does not begin with me—there is something above, a Higher Power. Hence its name, “yarmulke,” which is a contraction of “yarei malka,” which means awe of the King. It is a symbol of humility and submission to the Divine.
Technically, you can use anything to cover your head—baseball cap, pillowcase, etc. Even those who don’t wear a yarmulke all the time, will generally wear it when praying or studying Torah.
It is also known as “Kippah,” which means “dome.”

I've never heard one say that, only you. But maybe that's because I never asked them about lying and wearing a yarmulka.
Most rational people wouldn't ask the question.

What are you, stupid? First, you're making a declaration in the guise of a question. (And I'm betting you don't even understand what that last sentance means.) Second, are you asking if this holiest of religions has as a law that let's you "cross your fingers" to avoid making a sin? Again I ask, what are you, stupid? And while we're at it, let me ask you this...do Y OU belong to a religion that let's you sin all you want, then say you're sorry every week to some guy who tesll you what to say for absolution? Yeah, just as I thought.

I believe Jesus doodled all the names of every man standing there who had been with the prostitute Mary Magdalene. That is why they dropped their rocks and walked the other way. Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone..and they all left.
Sin is alwasy sin to Jesus and Jesus is GOD so sin is always sin to GOD and it is written:
GOD is NO respecter of persons everyone is equal in his sight. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

no, lying is always a sin, but its probably really MORE of a sin to lie wearing a yarmulk because the yarmulke symbolises that you are aware that God is watching you

the purpose of a yarmulka is to show that we have G-d above us,. it's really to keep us modest, so we dont start thinking we're G-d
