I have read that it was Mohammed's wife's idea. She was older than him and on a quest for money and power. When her husband came home saying he had seen a spirit, she created a plan with him to combine the popular religions of the day into one and obtain as many followers as possible, and many travellers to Mecca, where they could take their money.

The Holy Quran is the Holy words of Almight god "Allah Subwanathaalaa"
this is the only book which won't be changed forever until the world ends up, till then it will be protected by the Almighty one and only god .
As for the chrictians theyhave the bible but every year this happes to be changed according to the needs of manknd but the Holy Quran won't change so like that as it it much more enough for the human kind to find any thing (a doubt) abut his/her life matters every thing has been explained in it .
Islam is the complete riligion eversince it was introduced by Holy Prophet Muhammed (salallaahu aleihiwas_salum)

Why did they just make up the New Testament? And have not one, but four Jesus stories written from the same original text? Plus have all those letters to various people forged?
Was it spite for the Jews?

NO IT IS NOT 4 SPITE!!!! it is what they belive!! why would they go to so much trouble to bother a person who must be so shealtered that thay can not understand that the world is not clones of them selves! if u were a true american u would understand that people other then u have the right to life, liberty, and THE PERSUTE OF HAPPYNESS!!!!! there religon is what makes them happy!!! u don't have to do what they do, but they don't have to do what u do eather. live with it and don't think that u are so specil that u think the world dose things to PISS U OFF!!!!

Christianity is no better than Islam. Both try to force their religion on everyone else, and hate each other even though they both worship the same god through different prophets. I guess that part doesn't really matter, though, since none of them actually follow their respective prophets preachings of peace and love.

they wanted less rules to have to obey so they made up their own thats easier to follow. instead of love thy nighbor, the koran says kill thy neighbor
