What's the possibility of someone else being the father of this baby?

While my ex and I were broken up last year, I drunkinly made a mistake and had unprotected sex with one of my co-workers, on October 14th...and so my ex and I got back together and we decided to have a child...I decided not to start new pills, and so mine ran out October 31st...I made sure I had taken one every single day like I was supposed to at the same time everyday.
And 2 days after we had sex, I got my period...
Well 2 weeks later, I took a pregnancy test, and one at Planned Parenthood, and both came out negative...meanwhile my ex and I had been having so much unprotected sex...and continued to do so, and my last period was November 17th, and the 1st or 2nd week into December, I bought a home prgnancy test and it came out positive.

Is there any chance at all that this could be my co-workers child?
I don't want that, I want this to be my ex's baby, and I don't think it's this other guys at all, but to be sure, I want your opinions...'cause s*** happens...

Well he's my ex now, and already knew what had happened to begin with, and when we got back together we had decided to take our relationship to the next level, but I guess it sould have been marriage, and we did get engaged earlier this year but he decided to break up with me in June so we could work on ourselves and be friends again, get along, a break...and it hurts like crazy because I love him and he has told me we will talk about us after the child is born, but I don't know, he told me recently he's still in love with me, but he's also hitting on so many girls, and giving them his number...so I don't know...

I was asking because it was a constant wonder in my mind because my ex put it into my mind...he asked me once if there was a chance it could be the co-workers and I started to think about it and said no because of this and that, so I thought I'd ask everyone here...

The coworker was black, and he was dark, and my ex is white/native american, and I'm mexican and were both about the same light skinned...so I think I'd know...if it was the co-workers once I see the baby...

Nah. Doesnt' sound like it. But s*** does happen so you might think about getting a paternity test to be sure. They are usually confidential although getting DNA from both parterns may be complicated.

If I understand correctly that:
1) you were taking birth control pills daily when you had sex with the co-worker and had been doing so for some time,
2) you had two periods after you had sex with your co-worker
3) Your first pregnancy test took place more than two weeks after you had sex with the co-worker and it was negative,

then there is pretty much no chance that the child is the co-worker's. If all this is not enough evidence, the doctor should be able to tell you how far along you are, which will put the likely date of conception after you had sex with the other guy.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you had sex with the guy on Oct 14th then you had 2 complete menstrual cycles before a test showed you were pregnant in December - right ?

If I got all that right, it is 100% IMPOSSIBLE for the child to be the other guys. Sperm is viable for only a few days, 5 days at the absolute maximum in perfect conditions, so by the 20th of October, any sperm from your co-worker would be dead. You then had 2 menstrual cycles which certainly helped clear out any remains from your co-worker.

You are without a doubt, NOT pregnant from this guy.

No you were taking your pills and you had a period after that. You do have to take your pills daily but it does take a while for the hormones to leave your system. Plus youhad you had two negative pregnancy tests. Its your ex's but why are you having a baby right after you got back together? This is a human being not a toy and apparently your relationship had problems, babies don't fix problems they do make them much worse though.

don't listen to her - like her name says she is confused. There is not a 50/50 chance because birth control pills are 99% effective combine that with the fact that you had your period later and a negative test I don't know why you are even wondering - unless you had sex again with someone else and aren't telling us. Also when you get your due date from your doctor you can really be sure. Lol confused89 needs to work on her math.

Well its highly unlikely...there is a 2 month gap so when you go to the doctor how far along are you/were you? If it places it back to October then the chance is higher than if it conception was in December.

yes there is a 50/50 chance it may be ur boyfriend or co worker because birth control pills dont always work and it dont matter how much sex u have one slip up can do the trick

Good question, Let me tell u Go and buy a jab. You put some sleeping pills in your ex drink then take the jab to draw some blood from him, ( best his right arm) . Then take the jab blood put it in a clean and clear bottle sent it to hospital, then ask doctor to take a blood test from your baby, and the bottle of blood from your ex, ask the doctor to do DNA report.

Ask your ex since you two were broken up. Anything is possible. Either take a paternity test or forget about it. Obviously you feel it could be, or it wouldn't have entered your thoughts......... So you had a drunk encounter and didn't use protection, be glad you got pregnant instead of something you can't cure............. Good luck

If you only had sex once with your co-worker, I would have to say it is most likely your ex's baby. You would not have gotten your period in Nov. if it was the co'workers.
