Raises it's HP by a lot. But it could blow the engine... I'd watch what you're doing first.

As the people before me have said if you put it in as a stock car you will most likely blow your engine and need to purchase a new one. What you can do is have gaskets changed and the exhaust changed. Spark plugs will also take a beating. And make sure you dont get the biggest turbo. LOL you will also need a ECU change. An intercooler might be in order or a cold air intake. But over all it will increase throttle response, sound (engine), horsepower, fuel consumption will decrease and more importantly you will kick some serious a $$ if you race with other mk3's. good luck hope it works out.

i would be really careful with putting one of those turbo's on 4 cylinder i blew my cavalier up man... Have some head work done before you do the turbo or you will jsut blow it out of the hood. Ive seen it done...

A turbo forces more air into the engine,called boost, if you get to much you can blow a motor. However if you do it correctly they run great.
