He needs counselling, and his parents (if they are the loving and supportive type) probably should know that he has difficulties.
Your boyfriend probably feels as though his entire world is about to collapse and he focuses on your relationship - thereby getting you to offer reassurance. But it doesn't - it can't - last. And you are playing into the situation - without knowing it - by asking if HE is going to break up with YOU. That is more unsettling to him, so he doesn't sound confident because he ISN'T. And the fact that his friends are drifting away is also a sign that he needs help.
Tell him that you love him; that you are not going to leave him; that you know he will not leave you; but that he needs to see someone for some serious assistance. It may just be that he is severely sleep-deprived (believe me, that can cause all manner of hell) or it may be indicative of something else.
You don't say how old you are but you are probably in your late teens to mid-twenties, during which time some of the emotional/mental problems rear their ugly heads.
Better to head them off before they become entrenched, if that should be the case.
Good luck.

Sounds like a case of paranoia! Or depression of loss of friends...either way it's nothing that time and love can't heal. If he feels that you're drifting as well as his friends then find a way to show him that you're not drifting but getting closer.

If I were to take a guess, I would say that the guilty conscense is getting to him from doing something he wasn't suppose to do and is regretting it now. I say this because I have gone through the same thing he is going through. If anything the key is communication. Find out why he really feels this way and reassure him that you are there for him and he should do the same for you.. just my opinion

just try to re-assure him that you are going to be there for him no matter what. this is normal when friends are drifting away becasue he may feel like he is losing the world right now, you just need to show him that you will be there for him and things will be okay.

Well it sounds to me that he may have done somthing pretty bad and is hidding it from u and he thinks that you will end the relationship if u find out. Assure him that u love him and will always work through the hard times and that nothing is unforgivable.

I think he's too obsessed with you, he afraid to losing you because he really love you. I think you just have to tell him to be relax and convince him that he will not lose you. But I also think he need to see someone who he can talk to and share his feeling. Maybe there's a problem with him.
