Mr don, Ive seen your aswers before and you seem like a very intelligent man well versed in the scriptures. So this qusetion to me seems out of character for you. But let me say that if you trult are the answer man then you would know and understand 2 Peter 3:14-15 especialy the part about meekness (some translation say gentleness and respect) Use it as an oppotunity to witness to them who knows maybe you will have a chance to see one turn and embrace the true Christ

Constitutional rights?? Have you read it?
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Yeah, well. I'm confused by all this Don stuff. If the real Don is at level six, and never ever asks questions, how come there is a question in his profile page? Just asking......anyways, I'm going back to the garden page where I can see sensible questions. Bye ya'll

Regardless of your belief in God or any of the many different faiths, why can't you politely just say you have nothing to discuss and send them on their way without being a belligerent bastard? Perhaps you should read the constitution, where does it say you have a right to freedom "from" religion that prevents them from knocking on your door and expressing their beliefs? Now if it were the Government knocking on your door saying you will worship based on the national religion, then you would have something to complain about.

First of all they have to be 19 to be serving a mission. If you dont want to hear about the church tell them you arent interested. Also, they mostly work off referrals so it could be that someone told them you were interested as a joke. There's no reason to be rude to them though.
Also, I know you arent the real Don, so you aren't fooling anyone.

I was very upset when I saw your question. With just the one sentence, I thought they were now on real bikes and maybe wearing leather. Just a step from there to the tattoo parlor! I am much relieved that they are still pedaling, or is it peddling?
I know It will cost us some of your erudite answers about the almighty; but go ahead, give them the Watchtower magazines you keep under your mattress- -then send them on their way and stop making such a fuss.

we all have this problem with door knocking bible thumbing jerks of all ages,18 on bikes or 50 year olds in a Honda. the only thing I can tell you about this is, if you talk to them the right way and show them the wrath of god they have never seen before they will not come back for a second helping.

dang it don! are you picking on the mormans again???Didn't you just get in trouble for that! No you can't outlaw them, put up a sign in your yard or on your door that says "no solicitation" that should keep them away. If they still come then call the police, let them take care of it. I don't want to see you on yahoo answers asking for somebody to bail you out of jail! lol
Taking away their bikes won't do anygood. In my neighborhood they got a car! lol
Wait a min. so there is a fake don?? I'm so confused, lol. I thought somebody was cracking a joke, lol.

You have a constitutional right to privacy? Cool, let's go with that.
However, they can't be designated as tresspassing unless you put up a big sign saying "No Mormons/soliciting/evangelists" or the like. If they do, then they're tresspassing, and you can in fact pursue legal action. Go for it.

Don, it is not "punks", it is "hoodlums". I think you are out of touch with the rest of the world Don. It's time to come out of the outhouse and into the real world. Nobody says punks anymore. Hoodlum or skalywag. Those are your only options. Got it? And it isn't Mormon anymore either. They renamed themselves last night to the Holy Norman Church of YesterDay's Saints.
