Money is a thing and is neutral. The way I read it and I may be wrong it is said that the love of money is the root of evil. If that be true which I do believe from my view it is, then it is the our state of being and the value we give to money.

That's the way a "NO" see it but you must know a "NO" can be wrong. So do consider all the other answers and do have a great day.

Anything we set up as something more valuable than God constitutes wickedness. Money in of itself is not evil. I think some forms of interest charged on money exemplify greed and exact hardship on people. Borrowers are treated as yet another commodity, with a risk level assigned to each borrower ("credit score", as though the borrower were actually winning something). In this context, people are not so much valued according to their moral trustworthiness, but rather how safe an investment they will be to the lender.

The Love of money which we have is the evil... Money isn't evil....It can serve many good services if we are responsible with it. How we value money is a sin..... Putting it before the Lord is a sin, allowing it to control us is a sin.... WE Human Kind are the Sin...Not the Money.... Sad isn't it?

its the love of money which is evil. From that perspective the value affixed to it is the problem, rather than it merely being a medium of exchange

I think its the people who want money to do stupid things with it to make them happy. So I guess I say humans are fooled by money which would be the governments fault but they are only trying to set up some orderly way of...wait.. I guess I don't get it...because there are also taxes...nvm I think its humans who are evil...not all but most.
