I have a 3-year old son, he is very cute. I really want to be a great father. However, I can not be the one on my own. Do you have some suggestion for some books or some experence?

Wow ... interesting question. But you asked so here it is...

A good father... I was actually thinking of my late daddy today. Thinking what a great dad he was.... because he gave me so many wonderful memories.... he used to take us on lots of trips and take us to the park. We used to garden together. And we built a bird house together. He would tell us bedtime stories and play shadow games on the walls. As we grew older I could always count on him to tell my problems or thoughts. He helped me at all hours of the nights with homework. What I remember most about him is that he would spend 1:1 time with me. He made me feel special and loved me no matter what I did wrong.

Give your son memories. Try and be there for him as much as you can... understand him and know him....

Treat him like you would want to be treated as a 3 yr old, teach discipline and respect and you will do fine.

love him, play with him and be there for him no matter what and don't be mean like yell at him or spank him just tell him what he is doing wrong in a loving voice because when he grows up to be successful you will be very glad you did

in order to be a very good father you must be married to the child's mother and committing all your efforts to the children's interest.

"Bringing Up Boys" by Dr. James Dobson is pretty good. Good luck and God bless.
