Would it be a good idea to get a bike once I get to China? I will be traveling throughout China. Is it convinient to take a bike on to trains, buses, etc?

Bikes are unbelievably cheap in China. 12 Dollars bought one last time I looked. At that rate, you could even buy a new one each time you've done a major leap somewhere else. Other than that, taking them on busses should be OK, same with trains - don't be too surprised if they aren't being extra-nice to you. They never are. But a bike is a bit of extra work.

Trains, you could ship the bicycle. Buses, not a good idea.
Though the bicycle is the most common form of trasportation in China, and a used one can be found really cheap almost anywhere. look for the shops that say 修车 fix bike. Often they have cheap used ones for around 100 RMB (about 12 USD). Hostels will also often have bikes for rent, and there sometimes there are places in the city that will rent bikes.
As for actually buying a bike, it all depends where you are, how long you will be there for, and how much you want to spend. In Beijing, I just take the buses and subway, sometimes a taxi.

If you live in a city in china. I hope you can use a bike. But you want to travel throughout china. I hope you can travel by a car to see the real beautiful view of china. If you want to ride a bike. You must be very tired only if you are a player.

You wouldn't take a bike on the train or bus. I know that there are rental places that you can rent a bike when you are in certain areas, but I wouldn't know where to find them. Check online before you go for rental bikes in the area you are staying.

Sure, someone has to keep buying those shiny new bicycles for the bicycle thieves to steal one week after the owner has made the purchase.
