well theres this girl i really like and was thinking about asking her out but the thing is shes too tall aroung 5'7'' or 8'' and im 5'9'' (but still gonna grow) im afraid shell say no because of my height, do tall girls prefer taller guys? or am i okay for her?

I am 5'8" and I love my tall guys and the ones who r closer to my height. I would say ur height is good. I dont think she will say no because u r still taller than her and u said u haven't hit ur growth spert yet so there is nothin really to worry about. Plus if ur height is the thing that buggs her then she is not the girl for you. She should like u for more than that. Good luck and I hope that I helped you.

I can say that Gwen and I were tall for our age group. I am 62. She was 5"8" tall, I was 5'9'' but have shrunk. I note in the dating section of our newspaper. many girls/women are looking for men over 6'. As they do not generally give their height , it's hard to judge..
ASK her out.

Yea we prefer taller guys but when it comes down to it if there's a guy I like and he's around my height who cares. I'm not gonna turn down a guy I like just because of his height. So I guess it depends how shallow the girl is or how comfortable she is with herself to step out of her preferences.

guess what...news flash, people are INDIVIDUALS. Her height is NO indication of whether she likes short guys, same height guys, or tall guys...
Just ask her...stop being so insecure (that is a turnoff)...she'll say yes or no...you're no worse off than you are right this minute, no matter what her answer is...but ya might be better off (if she gives you the answer you desire)...
What are you waiting for? Her to grow some more? Get on it!

Yes u r ok for her. I've seen plenty of MUCH taller gurls hanging out with shorter guys than them. there is absolutely no problem with height as long as trust and love is present.

I'm an inch taller than my husband so no, I don't think they would mind the height. Girls don't really look for height, they look for someone who is sweet and genuine.

well i am 5'7 so to me there is nothing wrong with you being 5'9 most girls want a guy that is tall or taller then them ... i will not date a guy that is 5'7 or lower ..

right now im only 5'4 still growing and every boy ive liked has been 5 feet one was 5'6 they usally like shorter but most of us really dont care about the height
