Alright. Two people are friends until it comes to a point where they are more than friends and have strong feelings about each other and hook up, one person is in a bad relationship because of financial problems..the other is single. The affair stops, the two don't speak for 8 months not knowing they both can't stop thinking about one another. The one persons realationship is still in a bad situation, cannot get out of it, the other is still single. They meet again, and talk about everything knowing there are strong feelings for each other still, the single person is very hurt, the other who's in the relationship feels horrible and apologizes and never meant to hurt them. So it comes to a point where whats next? Still see each other on the side, even though its a bad relationship but cannot get out of it because of financial reasons and do not get along? Or just end it all together even though its something real and both care about each other a lot. HELP! I am in a pickle!

P.S. the length of the relationship is about a year and a half, do not communicate well, and the other person in the relationship is NOT married

Don't mess around with married people. It never ends up well.

The married person have financial problems meaning they don't have the funds to file for a divorce? Is that what the married person wants? Or is it influenced by the single person? Because if the single person wasn't in the picture, would the married couple have resorted to therapy or trying to reconcile their relationship? That married person need to figure it out. Just think of it as being reversed. How would you feel? How would you feel if you were the other person in the marriage (that's not seeing someone else)?

Is the person whose in the bad relationship because of financial problems married? You said the person in that relationship can't get out of it because of financial reasons...If this person is married, then yes the single person should end it eventhough you have feelings for each other. What kind of relationship is that? If someone wants to get out of a relationship-------they will if they really want to regardless of financial considerations. Let it go and move on.

if you really love someone you should set them free and if it was ment to be then they'll come back to you and if they dont then it wasnt. because theirs strong feeling present i wouldnt go for the casual hooking up at all . step back and let the sitution work it's self out with the other person. remain friends. but let it go for now

Sweetheart I feel your pain..........
I had sort of the same problem........
You need to decide what is really important in life.......
Being happy or being unhappy........

I am going to leave you with the one quote that I have heard in life that rocked my world........

"Get busy living.......or get busy dying..."

If the person really, truly wants to get out of that situation......they will.......
I suspect it is more of......"In a rut"...kind of thing!
