I am against organized religion as well, but that doesn't mean I can't have my own beliefs and morals that I abide by for the sake of being alive. I have spent many lonely nights and woke up many days where all I could do is lay in bed because I couldn't face the day. What got me up and going was nature, and finding a connection with it and my beliefs. I also went to the library every day and picked out a book from a topic that interested me. Usually they had to do with psychology or a self help book on why I was feeling the way I do. I didn't always agree with what one book said versus another but I DID question my own life and thoughts and validated why I felt a certain way and felt proud of it. I took walks every day through the woods and watched nature and listened to it. I never liked nature before, but now I am in love with it. I also found that by writing down a goal every day and accomplishing it, I gained some self esteem and wanted to do more and more each day. Write down a goal, it could be something very very small.. that maybe you put off every day. For me it was things like cleaning my room, calling a friend that i lost contact with, making dinner, or even getting out of bed and taking a shower some days. But I always felt at peace with myself after accomplishing my goal. I also suggest volunteering or doing something for someone else less fortunate than you. Help out in anyway you can. You will find that there are things to be happy about in life and maybe turn yours around.

I don't know why we feel like this, but I know that you might need to ask the doctor for more mg on the Wellbutrin, that is what I did and it worked better, I know that it is hard I feel where your coming from, just take every day slow and when you feel moody just let everyone know and get on your computer and surf it as fast as you can It helps me! Smile you will be ooK! That killing yourself is just the devil trying to make us mad. When that thought comes write down something good and about yourself or write down something good that happen that day just get yourself something to take place of that thought.

being against religion is the best thing you can do. i dont just say that as an athiest but also as a person who realizes that religion is the single most evil thing to have happened to this planet. so with god out of the picture, i would consider taking a vacation or doing something so spontaneuos it could jump start your life again and make it all better.

You probably need to get the doctor to give you a different prescription. Xanax made me apathetic, and when my DR. changed my prescription, I felt much better. Sounds like you're having a negative reaction to Welbutrin.

Sounds like you need to become a cop. Get a job with the government and you can ruin other people's lives - and enjoy yours while you're doing it!

I eat bananas to reduce depression. I hate them, but they numb the feeling.
