129 is on the higher end, yes. The majority's IQ falls between 85-115. The average IQ is approximately 100, with 115 and 85 being one standard deviation above and below. Having an IQ of 129 puts you in about the top 5-10% of the population.

129 I.Q. is an average. You should be proud that you are above normal (and not too high to be a nerd/dork). Good job! Take an I.Q. test once you are 18........because that is what counts. And remember: DON"T CHEAT!

Yes it is. On the standard test the normal scale (I think Stanford Binet is the name, I know Binet is the second, I'm unsure of the first) is 80-100 below to borderline average, 100-110 - is average, 110-120 is above average, 120-130 is I think is well above average, 130-140 is gifted, it goes up from there.

If you took it online, chances are its not entirely accurate. If at least one of the tests was the Stanford-Binet test, then that's the real deal.
The average human IQ is 100. 129 is an excellent score; its definitely above average. 135+ is considered genius.

how old are you? if you are around 12 then you are very bright.
i believe that is a high normal for an adult. don't be fooled into thinking I.Q. really counts for success. Common sense seems to do better for people. Just my opinion.

By definition 100 is average.
But then, as demonstrated by the last presidential election, the average person is an idiot so I wouldn't let being above average go to my head.
ckccoolkidsclub's comment does not make any sense. Your IQ does not increase as you get older.
mistress_piper is incorrect. Genius is defined as 160, not 135.

Only if you are running for president, which would put you at about 42 points above the mean average for incumbent US presidents over the period of the last 6 years.
