If you truly believe 100% without any inch of a doubt that the Bible is the "Word of God", then it is also 100% that there is a literal Heaven and a literal hell. These statements came from the very mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you read your Bible rememeber the story of the rich man who went to hell after he died and a poor man after he died went to paradise.
Personally, i am a bible believer it is not a state of mind, the mere fact that you have a soul, means that there is a place for it.
We MUST be always READY when that time comes. REPENT.

Yes. Heaven is a state of complete happiness w/ the presence of God. Hell is a state of suffering and absence of God. You must not be mistaken of it as a place because it cannot answer the question where.

heaven or hell, darkness or light, good or bad, all are a state of mind. it is what you believe in that counts. all paths lead to God. some people just go about it differently than you do. heaven and hell are basically a metaphor describing the difference between good and bad. God would never condemn someone to live a life in fire and brimstone. he loves us to much for that. we have many chances to see the light and become enlightened. believe in God not what the church teaches you. believe in his word and you cannot go wrong.
blessed be,
Elizabeth

They are both of the same place and the same nature. I would love to fight a never ending battle with my enemies for all eternity, some would call this hell. One man's heaven is another man's hell.

Absolutely. The goal is to strive beyond duality, beyond the heaven and hell concept. Beyond "God" and "Satan", beyond good and evil.
People reap the consequences of their actions in this life. Many people live in their own personal 'hell' today by faulty decisions. The goal is to neither desire heaven nor abhor hell. Let your mind free from desire, unmoveable to the reactions of the cause. You will break free from cause and effect and will be liberated from this world. To me, that is what the Buddhists call Nirvana, what Christians call Heaven, what Muslims call Paradise.

Be good.

No. They are both very real.
Hell is eternal terror and anguish: i.e eternal separation from God.
Heaven is eternal joy and happiness in God's presence.
Not a very hard choice to make, but a hard one to live out.

If you think that nobody is going to hell, or that hell doesn't exist, or anything short of hell being a real place completely and eternally separated from God, then you are in a dangerous position, dude. Satan doesn't want you to know he exists, so convincing you that you'll go to heaven regardless is one of the easiest ways for him to decieve and mislead you into sin.

No. Heaven and Hell are where peoples spirits go when their bodies die. Your mind dies when your body dies but the spirit will live for an eternity. You choose where you want to spend that eternity. If you want to spend it in Heaven, ask Jesus into your heart. Otherwise...
