Yes, I know there are three Earth Ages. God put us here in this one because He has His reasons. Maybe in another Earth Age we didn't fight hard enough for Him?

This is the First Age of Middle Earth. We will be destroyed by Sauron. Then, the Second Age of Middle Earth will pop up... Hobbits, Wizards, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Ents, Tom Bombadil, etc. I don't know what the 3rd age will bring.

Geological evidence puts the Earth's age at about 4.5 BILLION years ago. With the Sun being a little over 5 BILLION years old.
There is no "Third" age, except in LOTR.
