Uh... in his culture, being a pedofile wasn't illegal - if by "pedofile" you are referring to how he married Aisha, his favorite wife, when she was 6 and he was 25. Anyhow, I don't think that people would have thought anything of the concept of homosexuality before the mid 1900's as anything but repulsive and perverted - which it kind of is, really.
Also, the catholic church - at least the true catholic church - has not slandered muhammed, though during the crusades, there was some of what one might call "Propaganda" against him, but that was mainly because of the culture clash of the east and west, the former of which enforced polygamy.

He was neither, read Muhammad a biography of the Prophet by karen armstrong. Get your facts straight, he had every imaginable insult made up about him by the catholic church to discredit islam, don't fall for it.
