OK I want everyone to tell me their view on f*** friends. Are they a good thing to have or a bad thing? Is it bad if one of your "just" friends turns into one? and how do you keep from falling for them?

definitely bad. someone is bound to get emotionally hurt, and people will call you names and think you are 'easy'. the whole thing would just turn into a mess, so you shouldnt do it.

YIIIIKES!!!! don't do it! In the best case scenario that he begins to fall for you, he will get scared and stop everything, including the sex, cold turkey. You can't make someone fall for you unless they are willing to do it and it's unwise to play with your own heart this way. The best example of this kind of relationship is 9 1/2 weeks. It was based on a true story and it did not have a good outcome. This sort of thing deteriorates because respect is lost and people feel used. Throw the potential for AIDS and STDs and unwanted pregnancy that can result from a broken condom when having sex in a non-exclusive relationship(you don't think they only do this sort of thing with you, do you?) and it is sooo..not worth it.Better to find a steady boyfriend with whom you can be with, don't you think?

From my experience, it was bad, because I ended up getting too attached to the guy and really liking him for who he was. Turned out that he never had any interest in me, and he only considered me his "release". But just because my experience was bad doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing to do. You need to remember he's only a friend to you and nothing else. You basically need to be null and void of any romantic feelings to be with someone with no strings attached. Some people can do this casually and it's fine for them, but for some it isn't. If anyone is considering having a friends with benefits, you really need to think this out and how it will affect you emotionally, so you don't end up hurt.

Yes its a good thing, as far as not falling for them or keeping them from falling for you, the best thing is communication. Make sure it is a clear understanding from the start. If either party believes that there can be something more then one will fall for the other eventually.

Notice all the women saying it's a bad thing. Probably 'cause deep down inside they really wanted more and didn't get it.

Duh!

Yes, it's totally cool to have a f*** buddy. Just be discrete, safe, and kick your pal outta the house as soon as you're done. Sometimes ya just need to get a good, solid f***ing and there's nothing wrong with that.

Some people have kissing friends and they always just remain kissing friends. There is just simply an understanding at all times. And you won't fall for them. Because of this understanding. If you fall for them your friendship will for surely end.......
If you get an opprotunity to have a kissing friend you are one lucky devil.!!!
Its nice to have a kissing friend to do stuff with and not worry about serious stuff.
Did you see the movie "My best friends's wedding?"
See it.

if you truly have a gut feeling it is a good thing, this question would not exist, personally, no, if the two of you are good friends and want to remain that way don't, "do it"
it will only the the beginning of a real bad ending.
"DON'T DO IT"

you know from the start you can't fall for them,if you start to fall remind yourself you can't. I think it's good to have a friend with benefits , especially if your single and want to be with one person sexually, without the hassle of a relationship.
