I changed my birthname after moving to a new state. I always
hated my name. It is a common name, and I am an artistic
person, so I wanted something that matched me, and that
sounded pretty. Plus, it's close enough to my real one.
All my family still call me by my real one. But all my friends, etc
know me only as my changed one. I love it...

I really do like my name. Growing up I wasn't a fan of being named after both of my grandfathers, but now I don't mind it at all as I truly love both of them. It's even more sentimental now that one has passed away.

I kinda' like it, but then everyone and their dog has the same one, though sometimes I add an extra letter to my name/nickname just to be stick out.

well for me that used to be a simple question i loved my name roya (sweet dreams in farsi) but then when i went to camp i got a nickname (Roxy) and i absolutely adore that one so much more. so yah i like my name but not as much as Roxy

Whenever I introduce myself to guys some of them are idiots and joke about me being a pornstar...or every seond person informs me their 'dog is also called Sasha'...Mum and Dad, I will never forgive you.
