FYI - He is a Roman Catholic and is very well known for his anti-Semitic statements (and no, it's NOT Mel Gibson in "The Patriot" - although he does idolize Mel for rallying people against the Jews).

Hmmmm.... I have never been asked to swear on a Bible - or even to God - when I have taken an oath in a court of law.

And I have no idea why "God" is on U.S. currency - other than the fact that we are one of the most materialistic cultures that the world has ever seen and we "worship" material possessions.

LOL! If Cartman was a founder father, we're all f**ked.

I was a witness in a court case and was asked to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth. There was no bible or mention of "god".

The "In God We Trust" was only added to the money in the 1950's which shows there is less separation of church and state today than in the days of the Founders.

Actually, Cindy, it depends on which version of American History you're reading. if you read from what the institutions we call schools and universities have provided our vulnerable youth, these "facts" written and re-written by liberals, and we will find many important facts about our history omitted. Firstly, we came here to escape the Church of England, not the Roman Catholic church. It was it's own state sanctioned religion everyone in England was forced to practice. Secondly, our founding fathers had a dream and desire to start a country where all could be free to worship the one true God without inhibition, where people could choose to worship Christ, and not be forced to, where no relationship could be fostered. Early on, our very own US government funded the building of churches, were in the bible printing business, and made the bible REQUIRED reading in PUBLIC schools. Stories from our history have been stripped and secularized, such as the story of Pocahontas, Christian, and even Hellen Keller, Christian as well. That was their platform. Not the things they've done, and stuff they said and wrote. Are we being taught that in the schools? Of course not. God forbid if today's youth REALLY knew what was going on, and what our country stood for. Many of our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they knew of the apostacy our country was going through nowadays. So when you suggest someone to freshen up their skills of American history, just make sure you know what sources you're going to before you suggest them to someone else. It's like, if you watch CNN all the time, you don't get the full story, you know?

ben franklin had orgies where the young male prostituted would dress up as nuns and the old men would be as monks and they would run accross the field and rape the nuns

washington, jefferson,

slave owners

if those men were christians, then their actions in history speak for themselves

cartman, cartman is a cartoon, if only that was what the christians could point to and say this is the worst of us,

1) When you take an oath, you're offered a bible.

2) What does it say on your money? In God We Trust.

Christianity is ingrained into your culture, unfortunately.

The USA was not founded by the Roman Catholic CHurch or we would all be bound by law to be Catholic.

Our founding was based on escaping the Roman Catholic church and the government it controlled.

Please re read your American History.
