It seems I can't get a single date. All women say I'm a great friend but none wants to go out with me in a date! Why? I'm hard working, smart, educated (I have a PhD in chemistry) and not bad looking.
Guys with mental and physical defects get dates, unemployed guys get dates, criminals get dates, what is wrong with me?
I'm nearing 40 and nothing. I've never been able to get a woman to even dance with me! And I ask and ask, and I'm funny and friendly and always willing to help, etc.
Is it my ethnicity (I'm an Aymara from Bolivia)? Is it my size (I'm 5' 5")? I'm just sick of being alone.
Do I look that *ugly* to you?

No your not ugly.... I dont get it. I go out with guys that make me feel safe. Safe from what well I dont know. But they dont want to dance with you ? I dont understand that at all. They say we teach people how to treat us. Have your guy friends told you why ? Have your girl friends told you why ? I would try to find a shortgirl just in case that could be it. Im 4'9" and dont care if the guy is 5"5", but a taller girl might ? So try to find a shorter gal. They are out there. GOOD LUCK !

dont worry. i'm an MD and i havent had a date in six years so you are not alone. i'm a lot shorter than you are coz i'm only 5'2. so i think its not your looks. you how about going to a salon and have a makeover? cut your hair a little shorter and add a few large curls. lose the glasses. blue or green contacts would be mindblowing on you. you are beautiful dont forget that. ciao!
P.S. if you dont want to cut your hair how about curling it? change in outfit perhaps?
