Sounds like she might be part persian or blue russian. Sounds like a gorgeous cat. Unless you know the cat is full blooded and it is registered as a specific breed you probably won't ever know what breed of cat it is. Cats have been so interwoven with every breed that's it's almost impossible to tell. Your best bet is to get ahold of a cat breed book and read through it and look at the pictures and see what cat qualities your cat pocesses. Your cat will probably end up being a mix between several different breeds. You have to look at the shape of their head, shape of eyes, shape of ears, length of legs, body build, fur texture and tail length, as well as a lot more. You cannot go solely on color of eyes, fur, or fur lenth. So check out your local library or online for cat breeds. In the mean time...just give your pretty kitty lots of love cause chances are...they don't care one bit what kind of cat they are, cause probably in THEIR eyes they are still the kings of Egypt worshipped by all I know MINE thinks that!

Like Leftygirl_75 said, if he has papers to prove his pedigree then they'll say what breed he is. If he didn't come with papers, he is a domestic long haired cat.
No matter how much your cat looks like a persian/himalayan/russian blue/whatever, he will still be a plain old domestic long hair unless both his parents were papered.

Eye color and coat color not special to any cat breed. You can have a long-haired, grey Persian or Maine Coon.
Any blue-eyed cat has Siamese genes somewhere in their background.

Gizmo felt like mink with black around his jewel green eyes. He was abused as a kitten and came to me at about 6 months old from a friend who was getting a divorce. My kitty died at 17 years old. .My friend told me he was a pure breed and cost some money. Had a dog who went with roommate....would love another cat...exploring options....Gizmo was one of my best friends for years. Can't replace him but just wondered if there was another kitty out there like him that wanted a forever home.

My boyfriend has a cat exactly like you are describing. She has a beautiful grey coat. My dad's friend also has one like that, but she is black. I don't know much about breeds of cats though... I will ask him and his family though to see if they have any idea.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I have short hair and guys like it. And i prefer a person with short hair over a guy with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look too girly.

I have short tresses for the first time since I was 10 years old and I actually really like it but I skip my long curly locks so I'm growing it back out!
