Only if you assume that when the word "Illegal" is used, it is used to describe someone of a different skin color or race.
Illegal immigrants come from all over the world, not just from Mexico. So the only ones being racist are the ones defending illegal immigration - they keep talking about the "poor Mexicans" wanting a better life.

No. Something about people waving flags from different countries and claiming they have a right to be here but feel no need to adapt to american culture tends to stir a few patriotic hearts. Just because I'm pissed that millions of people have invaded our country without following the rules my grandma had to endure, doesn't make me a racist. If anything, the cousins of my best friend that beat the crap out of me on a constant basis because I was white(acting on the guidance of their parents) were actually more racist. Gringo was the new n word in my neighborhood. My son's bullied in his school because he's not latino, yet all of the friends he has are hispanic. Heritage is one thing, patriotism is another. Racism is unfounded hatred for a culture that has done nothing but offered opportunity to an impoverished country. Not good enough that my dad's steel mill closed down to go across the border thanks to nafta. Now I've got to fight for a job at mcdonalds too. I hope the volunteers on the border catch alot more of those law breaking ILLEGAL aliens.. they aren't immigrants, thats just us trying not to hurt anyones feelings. Well that hasn't got us very far and it's not racist to fight for your protected rights. Aliens that don't have the respect to follow the immigration laws have no basis to call for the protection of the rights inherant to Legal American Citizens.

For some who have been waiting for a long time to find a good reason to use that specific derogatory word for the illegals, yes.
Most of the people though who complain about the illegals, they just are law-abiding citizens.

No. That's ridiculous. Just because you want all laws enforced and not just some laws, doesn't make you a racist. Illegals, especially Mexicans, use that word so much that it really doesn't have any meaning on this forum. Anyone who wants our immigration laws upheld is a racist to them. Personally I have never cared about what low life criminals from Mexico think anyway. So, if they want to call me that, that's fine.

No. That's the problem. Politicians and special interest groups are associating the word illegal with racist. I'm not stupid. I know the difference. If you're illegal you're illegal. If the term pisses these people off go they need to get themselves legalized. And screw amnesty. They need to get legalized the fair way.

Illegal aliens is the proper legal term for the invaders. Race has absolutely nothing to do with the issue, lefties just like to play the race card because they think it benefits them and makes them superior..... news for them, it makes them racists.
Correct: illegal aliens, criminals
Incorrect: illegal immigrants, undocumented immigrants, undocumented workers, illegals, wetbacks, and a few others.
Correct: illegal aliens do not belong in the USA. They willingly become CRIMINALS the moment they illegally enter the USA, and every thing they do while in the USA is a continuation of that initial crime. Those are the FACTS, the TRUTH.....
Incorrect: illegal aliens help our economy.... that is hogwash from the left.

"As you listen to the news about the student protests
over illegal immigration there are some things that you
should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language
department at a large southern California high sc hool
which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its
students average lower socio-economic and income levels.
Most of the schools you are hearing about-South Gate
High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc.-where these
students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
One hundred percent of the students in this school and
other Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free
lunch program. When I say free breakfast I'm not talking
a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and
cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a
Marriott proud.
The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and
trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (OUR TAX
DOLLARS AT WORK)
I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese
or at least moderately overweight.
About 75% or more DO have cell phones.
The school also provides day care centers for the unwed
teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can
attend class without the inconvenience of having to

$700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the
upcoming year even though there was little need for
anything; my budget was already substantial.
I ended up buying new computers for the computer

obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free
education in America. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I have had to intervene several times for young and
substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal
immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months
who raised so much hell with the female teachers,
calling them "Putas"(whores) and throwing things that
the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc.,
etc., etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only
be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and
entitlements?
To my bleeding-heart friends who want to point out how
much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society
because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they
like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the
real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE
costs.
Higher insurance, Medical facilities closing, higher
medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education
in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc.,
etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.
We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a
disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it.
Does anyone in their right mind really think they will
voluntarily leave and return?
There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens
that contribute to our country and many that I consider my
true friends. We should encourage and accept those
Hispanics who have done it the right and legal way.
It does, however, have everything to do with culture:
A third-world culture that does not value education, that
accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of
school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an
American culture that has become so weak and worried about
"politically correct" that we don't have the will to do
anything about it.------
Everything the teacher wrote is TRUE.... feel good and wasting other people's money on illegal aliens will not correct the PROBLEM.
A good question: what is America going to do about the INVASION? It is clear that Bush and Congress, following in Clinton's and Congress' already "do nothing footsteps", are repeating the crime of aiding and abetting illegal aliens in their quest to destroy America's culture and infrastructure.
And you try to make it a race issue... playing the filthy race card.... it makes you the racist.

No, there's a BIG difference between the two!!! The "N" word was used as a slur on the black race. We call those who break our country's laws, by sneaking into the country Illegals,because they are here ILLEGALLY!!! It has nothing to do with a "race". It's kind of like calling a prisoner, a criminal,because they ARE!!!!
