Just leave it alone

You're just gonna get laughed at if you modify that poor car.

Save yourself the humiliation and buy something that doesn't need to be modified.

I have a 1991 LS400. Plan on spending a lot of money on repairs instead of souping it up. I've owned it 9 years - 161,000 miles. A/C - $2,000. Power Steering - $400 (2 times). Rack and pinion - $1,100. Alternator - $400 (2 times). Security System door lock - $800. Now I have the beginnings of a transmission problem. It's still a good looking car! Good luck!

Do not modify a old motor you will be sorry. Start fresh, see the TRD Toyota racing division web site see import tuners in your area. Lexus Luxury cars are heavy. BMW 325I is much lighter better handling and simple. Get ready to spend lots of money. 32 valve four cam 4.5L V-8 could cost $5,000 to replace with a used wrecking yard motor.
