I am not religious, but I really think tolerance is one of the keys in achieving peace. Many religions are linked in history and in their beginnings, and should respect one another. I really don't think one is much better than the other.
Humans are humans as always have been, and none are more perfect than the other for adheering to one religion or the other, or to none at all.
If there is a God and I am to go before Him one day, I am at peace because I know in my heart that I am a good man.

But then again, anything is possible.
I am sure that the growth of Islam is also at its peak in 3rd world nations where death rates from disease and AIDS are highest. Not to mention the volatile governments in said countries where routine use of Genocide and Suicide bombers run rampant.
Probably a sure bet that Islam will never be the dominant religion on earth given such a number of the radicals are willing to kill each other to get their point across.
My faith lies with the agnostics. They do not kill each other in the name of their 'god' or religion.

Wrong! Christianity is the fastest growing. Islam is a false religion. It is the reason why we have so much terrorism;they deny Christ. Jesus Christ was the only person to die on the cross and rise again. Everyone else is a false prophet. As far as peace on earth... won't happen until Christ comes again.

Does it matter what the fastest growing religion is? That sounds so fad-like to me, like I am supposed to respect a religion or join it just because it is growing the fastest.
And I think that the millions and millions of Christians, Buddhists, rock-loving new agers, Pagan tree worshipers, and athiests (gasp) would disagree with you about Islam becoming the one and only religion.

Wishful thinking. As long as people refuse to accept the differences in others, they will attack. This is not directed at Islamic. It's directed at all fanatics of all religions. How sad.

Peace will never be completly widespread on earth, whether or not everyone is Muslim. Personally, I think the majority of wars are started by Christians, Jews, and Atheists and not Muslims, but that doesn't mean that war will cease.

Well, yes what you are saying is right, but it will happen only when the muslims stop spreading terroism and project themselves as good humans. With the present scenario methinks that islam will loose its hold.
