The Holy Bible speaks of being a Watchman. What does this person do and how does he/she do it><>?

A watchman is one who is assigned the task of sounding an alarm or warning when danger is approaching on seen to be possible. All are appointed as watchmen for humankind but not all are accepted as watchmen. Likewise all see themselves as watchmen but they normally forget to be prepared to be able to identify danger and this see many dangers in their view that are not dangers.

I guess if you want a simple answer just ask another for their opinion about anything. I am sure if you do listen carefully you will hear a self appointed watchman making a comment.

Now if you are speaking of the watchmen spoken of in the Bible, then such are appointed by God, and are inspired by the Spirit of God as to what to say and when to say it. It is written to not prepare in advance the words that you will speak for they will be given to you. That does not mean do not study, for lack of study may put you in the position of not even understanding your own words, Do study to seek the truth but do not prepare the precise words you will say to another in advance. Let the Spirit of God do that for you when He decides what, when, and where.

In the book of Ezekiel the duty of a watchman is explained to Ezekiel by God including the responsibility.

I am only guessing at this one, I would say it's an angel that watches... guards you, especially when you are troubled and pray, asking for protection, there are many different angels to help do different things.
