palm blow to the face. the part of your palm that meets the wrist is a hard surface. Hitting the nose on mouth with that had will definalty cause some pain and if done hard enough will break the bones/knock teeth out.
Also, if your looking to get away from an attacker, the pressure point just under the nose (in between the top lip and the nose)- push up on it and it causes extreme pain and generated tears from the tear ducts.
Put, be careful- only use in self defense and as a last resort. Violence should always be the last resort.

Dude ... either one works fine if well placed and done with enough speed, force and follow through. But why be all redneckish? Why not try to overcome your adversaries with wit and cunning rather than lower yourself to such a level? One day you will see the light... I hope it's before you do something that you will always regret. You should never let someone take advantage of you or push you around. Always stand up for what is right. But being a violent a$$hole is not the answer. Your Mama probably hopes she raised you better than that.

Violence never solves anything, just escalates. For your reference though a good way to break someones nose is to punch them in the philtrum (sp?), which is the area just under the nose, and use an upward motion.
