Well, some girls do have that appeal. Sometimes if there is a strong physcal attaction it could cause sort of a psychotic state or an inferior condition and prevent taking action or exercising courage in asking someone out, or attempting to establish an honest relationship.

Yep, because we can appreciate a good looking body, but can differentiate between good looks, and good person.
Most of the girls who are REALLY good looking are too aware of the fact themselves, and generally turn out to be self obsessed, overconfident,and superficial.
Damn nice to look at, but you wouldn't get a particularly good conversation unless you were talking exclusively about how good they look. Which they would want.
And for the record, it's not just girls that can be labelled as eye candy - I know that a lot of my female friends do exactly the same with guys...

All sorts of reasons not to go out with so-called "eye-candy". Sometimes, their personality isn't so great. Some men are intimidated by women who they consider out of their league. I would rank kindness and intelligence above looks most of the time, at least for long-term relationships. Clearly, you have to be attracted to them somewhat in the first place, but they don't have to be stunning.

At my age, yes. Some girls are just eye candy, nice to look and I wouldn't date anyone that could be mistaken for my daughter.

Some girls are eye candy, but the true beauty of a woman isn't in what she looks like, its determined by her words and actions, and what you see when you look deeply into her eyes.

for sure yes, to just see some fine example of a woman is pleasant,though to actually meet and date a woman as such could turn out to be a disaster. some candy only looks good! haha

Guys don't like to go out with "eye candy" because they have to constantly worry about other guys hitting on her.
It's not worth the stress.

some guys will be the "eye candy" girls for a while just to make their friends jealous but after a while they realize that girl gets very expensive to impress

The eye candy ones are always way taller than me. I figure they wouldn't want to be seen in public with me. Also, E-C's tend to be hard to keep, heart breakers, that will steal a man's soul and leave him feeling forsaken. There is always another tall stud that will sing-song his way into her heart/mind.
